Abusive Manager
After prepaying $696.04 for 8 nights, we were given a filthy room with no viable wireless connection and the hotel management was not able to offer a sanitary alternative.
Come back soon for the full story of how Kamlesh Patel (general manager of this pig sty) threw me out of the hotel (two days after I had surgery and was trying to recover) because I asked him again for a room that was not filthy.
One fun thing to note: On October 17 – After Mr. Patel gathered his janitors and groundskeepers to stand and physically intimidate me into leaving the property, I told him I would be certain to post my review of the filthy facility and his monstrous treatment of his regular customer on Expedia, Orbitz, Trip advisor, Lonely Planet, etc.
It’s so sadly transparent to see he ran to Expedia and posted this notice about the “new furnishings” – the same day I told him he would be sorry he robbed me of my urgently needed recovery and rest!

Here is what the place really looks like. Please note that the reason the bedspreads are rolled up and tucked under the sink is because the tops of the polyester comforters are stained and snagged – and the backside has that kind of open weave cheap polyester backing that traps pubic hairs and lint balls.
They were really so disgusting that I took them off the bed and my husband ran to Target down the street and bought us each a very cheap (BUT CLEAN) blanket to use. It’s not cold in Northern California in mid October so we were fine.

I am a frequent traveler and not an unreasonable princess expecting the Fairmont for $90 a night – so I had already brought lots of extra pillows and sheets. The pillows I brought of course because I’m not going to use a nasty old pillow in a flop house for 8 nights – when cheap pillows are only $3.99 at target.
I always carry an extra sheet when we have to use cheap motels so that I can wrap the top part of the pubic hair encrusted blanket in my sheets and not worry about the nastiness
